Burleigh Heads Accommodation – A great place for your next Gold Coast holiday

March 23rd, 2011

Looking for Burleigh Heads Accommodation?

I asked myself, “where do I want to be for my holidays where I can relax and enjoy the sound of the ocean?”

By lucky chance, I was wandering along the glorious sandy white beach at Burleigh when I noticed Burleigh Surf apartments, perfectly located across from a patrolled beach with nothing in front of it and the ocean and beach aside from a few Norfolk Pine trees. I didn`t know it then, but I had found the perfect holiday location to suit my family`s budget plus all of our needs for entertainment, relaxation, adventure and fun.

Curious, I ventured in and the friendly front office team kindly showed me through an available apartment and all their extensive facilities – the spectacular views of ocean, mountains and parklands from the apartment took my breath away -  those views were exactly what I dreamed of waking up to. The apartments are spacious and very clean with all the modern conveniences and a private spa bath in every one of them, one guess where I’ll be! The balconies look right out to the ocean, I could easily envision myself sitting there with my morning coffee in absolute awe as I watch the whales pass by as was the case when I visited or admiring the constant stream of surfers impressing all every single day.

Burleigh Surf Resort facilities

I could see immediately that with a full size Tennis Court, outdoor undercover BBQ areas, a Games Room will Pool Table, Gymnasium, Outdoor pool with sun-loungers, Sauna AND an Indoor Heated Pool and Spa (heated to a delicious 31C), I’d be hard pressed to get the family out of this fabulous complex as they could easily pass all their time just relaxing around the Resort. Having great internet access is another bonus for us as although we`ll be on holidays we will still need to check in on work daily – who knows maybe they can get by a little longer without us!

None the less, I have found out there are so many other fun things to see and do in and around Burleigh and am determined to try to fit some of it in.
Quickly I realised we would definitely need more than the one week of holiday bliss I had planned for to enjoy all that Burleigh Surf apartments had to offer us – or, do what I heard many other guests doing – book the next holiday before you leave from the current one. Excellent idea!

Burleigh Surf – Close to all that the Gold Coast offers.

With nearby fashion shopping havens at Robina Town Centre and Pacific Fair, easy access to the Gold Coast Theme Parks, al fresco dining and amazing coffee shops just a short stroll away, natural bush walks, arts and craft markets, fishing, local sightseeing, the Surf Club and Titans football games and the all important endless beachside sun, sand and surf fun, another holiday is definitely on the cards for us. This location caters to the most energetic of my family members right along with the more laid back kick your shoes off type such as myself.

So much to do when you holiday at Burleigh Heads.

As a destination, Burleigh Heads is such a winner. Situated between Coolangatta and Surfers Paradise, it has a chilled-out beach atmosphere, with friendly locals, parklands and an abundance of relaxed charm. The local Coles Supermarket is a short 10 minute stroll from the front door meaning a car is an unnecessary option for us, the local bus stop is almost directly across the road so journeys further afield are easily and economically taken care of. Complimentary underground security car parking is provided should we decide to hire a car for a day or two.

There are well established bush trails leading up through Pandanus Palms into a remnant of beautiful coastal rainforest which curves around to Tallebudgera Creek and provides wonderful nature walks and an opportunity for all the family to learn together about this ancient sacred Aboriginal location, which was part of a volcano 22 million years ago. Day Trips up to the Hinterland or perhaps even Brisbane or the Sunshine Coast are an option and can be easily made using the on-site booking service at Burleigh Surf Apartments, the staff are only too happy to assist in trying to find us the best deals available and there are no fees or charges for this great service.

A healthy wander around the headland track and down the hill and it`s time to sample some of the best seafood on the Gold Coast or perhaps a beachside coffee – bliss followed by an in-house massage. Making a reservation is as easy as a quick email or a phone call or in our case – walk in and see for yourself, we could not fault the professionalism and helpfulness of the staff.

I can`t wait for our Burleigh Surf apartments holiday to start – only 34 more sleeps – and yes, we are counting down!
